Four Way Stop
This road sign is placed at four way stop intersections and informs drivers that all entrances to this intersection are controlled by stop signs. The basic rules that govern the right-of-way at four way stop intersections are as following: the first vehicle to arrive at the intersection should be the first to leave; when two vehicles reach the intersection at the same time, the driver of the vehicle on left must yield to the driver of the vehicle on the right;if two vehicles are facing each other and are traveling straight through the intersection, both vehicles can go at the same time.
